Sentaro is building the next generation of AI-powered cyber defense. We are looking for a Senior ML Engineer with a strong security mindset to develop the proprietary models and detection systems that identify phishing, impersonation, social engineering, shadow AI and other emerging threats across email and SaaS environments.

You will train and fine-tune our ML and LLM models on Mimer, Sweden's new AI-optimised supercomputer funded by EuroHPC and hosted at Linköping University. This gives you access to large-scale compute that few companies can offer, and the freedom to experiment at a scale where research ideas become production reality.

What you will do

• Train, fine-tune and evaluate ML and LLM models for threat detection, from data pipeline to production deployment

• Run large-scale training and experimentation on Mimer, owning the full workflow from job scheduling to distributed training

• Design detection systems for phishing, impersonation, social engineering and adversarial AI in email and SaaS environments

• Turn messy, real-world threat data into robust and explainable models together with our security experts

• Shape our ML infrastructure, evaluation methodology and model release process

What we are looking for

• Several years of hands-on experience building and shipping ML models in production

• Experience with LLM fine-tuning and evaluation, or large-scale distributed training

• Strong Python skills and familiarity with the modern ML stack (for example PyTorch, Hugging Face, MLOps tooling)

• Curiosity about attacker behavior, threat signals and adversarial AI; prior security experience is a plus but not required

• Comfort working on site with our team in Stockholm
